New Images of Bill Murray as FDR in HYDE PARK ON THE HUDSON
Focus Features has released a batch of new images from the historical drama Hyde Park on the Hudson. The film stars Bill Murray as President Franklin D. Roosevelt and centers on Roosevelt's affair with his cousin, Daisy, during a weekend in 1939 which marked the first ever visit to America by a British monarchy when King George VI and Queen Elizabeth visited FDR's upstate New York cottage. Olivia Williams plays FDR's wife Eleanor while Laura Linney plays Daisy. Murray looks fantastic as FDR and I can't wait to see his take on our nation's 32nd president. Elizabeth Olsen May Star in Spike Lee's OLDBOY
Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene) has reportedly been offered the role of the female lead in Spike Lee's Oldboy remake. The part of Marie was previously turned down by Rooney Mara (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) and Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland), but could be a major role for Olsen. Having quickly risen through the ranks of most-sought-after actresses, Olsen has a number of projects lined up for 2013 but may yet have time to work Oldboy into her schedule. If Oldboy can manage to pin down someone to play the villain (Clive Owen, Colin Firth and Christian Bale have already declined the role), Lee may be able to start filming late this summer as planned. Kirby Bliss Blanton and Alexis Knapp PROJECT X Interview
With producer Todd Phillips and director Nima Nourizadeh's R-rated teen comedy Project X opening in a few days, last weekend I got to talk with the filmmakers and cast about making the film. Starring Thomas Mann, Miles Teller, Oliver Cooper, Jonathan Daniel Brown, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Dax Flame, Nichole O'Connor and Alexis Knapp, Project X is about a group of outsiders that decide to throw a party where things get absolutely out of control. New Poster for THE AVENGERS
Marvel has released a new poster for The Avengers. As you can see, they have assembled, so check that off the list. Step two: fight unseen menace.
