First Trailer for NOW IS GOOD Starring Dakota Fanning and Jeremy Irvine
The first trailer for the drama Now Is Good has gone online. The film stars Dakota Fanning as a 17-year-old girl who is dying of leukemia and decides to forgo treatment in order to live out her last days to the fullest. While the premise may seem a bit derivative, I was actually quite impressed by the trailer. Fanning sports short hair and a British accent, and it's refreshing to see her tackle adult material. She's joined by War Horse star Jeremy Irvine, as the two strike up a presumably doomed romance and set out to fulfill her bucket list. As I said, it's not the most original of stories but I'm intrigued enough to catch the film at some point down the line. Hit the jump to watch the trailer. New Images from Tim Burton's DARK SHADOWS Starring Johnny Depp
New images from Tim Burton's Dark Shadows have gone online. The film is based off the 1960s-70s cult TV series, and centers on vampire Barnabas Collins' (Johnny Depp) attempt to reintegrate with his descendants after having been buried for 200 years. These new images give us a tiny look at caretaker Willie Loomis (Jackie Earle Haley), and another image of Michelle Pfieffer as "Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, the reclusive matriarch of the Collins family. The character has not left the mansion since the disappearance of her husband a decade earlier." Hit the jump to check out the images. One of the more interesting comedies set for release this year is Casa de mi Padre. The pic is a Spanish-language comedy, but it stars Will Ferrell as a Mexican rancher who must save his family's farm while defeating notorious drug lord and winning the hand of the lovely Sonia. All the previous trailers and clips look absolutely ridiculous in the very best way. Ferrell is in his element here, and it looks to be a highly entertaining comedy that's full of action and hilarity. Furthermore, Ferrell's supporting cast is excellent, with Gael Garcia Bernal, Diego Luna and Nick Offerman rounding out the ensemble.
